TechJini has multiple models of engagement. Our models of engagement are flexible and are tailored to best suit the situation and needs of the customer. All engagement models that we suggest and offer are the one's that we have mastered over the years of our existence. We offer the following Engagement Models:

 

Fixed Price Model:

The Fixed Price Model is best suited to small and medium level projects with definite scope and clear specifications of the projects. You can engage this model when everything about your project is apparent from the beginning of your project to its delivery and pay a fixed price as per the agreement.

 

This model is ideal for customers who have detailed project specifications, time lines and budget. Because of the clear goals sketched out, it is considered that while developing the application it will give little or minimal scope for modifications or changes. This means that Fixed Price Model, in addition to being appropriate for short-term and medium level projects, it can also project results as foreseen.

 

This model works better with mutual cooperation (with necessary feedbacks, ideas and suggestions) between the TechJini and the client.

Time & Material Model:

Time & Material (T&M) Model is applicable for projects that are bigger and longer in duration. When specifications and implementation plans cannot be clearly defined before taking up the project, T&M Model is the right choice allowing you to modify your specifications, adjust time schedules and define scope during the execution of your project.

 

TechJini's team will work with you closely to define a realistic pattern based on your project’s complexity, proposed time lines, planned budget and any anticipated challenges. Our team will do this by studying your business, your market and project requirements, so that your project is executed with best efforts in a smooth environment and ultimately you are successful.

 

TechJini's abundant experience has identified that bigger and longer projects with indefinite specifications and imprecise plan tend to evolve during the course of their execution. This may require several modifications and changes and extra or lesser resources to carry out the project. In such case, our T&M Model facilitates the customer to amend to the necessities such as hire precise or additional resources needed for each of the particular module of the project and pay for the specific work done.

 

We provide regular detailed reports on the work done on your project, which describe the progress and process of your project and also facilitate you to plan ahead in case if you want to improve or condense your application.

Captive Offshore Team Model:

TechJini offers a unique business model where our clients can build a technical team here with us (like an extended arm/team of your own on-site team). TechJini provides them with the required resources that fit to their requirements. We build a core technical team that will managerially report to TechJini and Functionally to the Client. The client will reap the advantages of the two best worlds "Time and Material" and "Fixed price" by having an extended team of their own at low operational costs.

 

This is a Business model called "Captive Offshore Team"(henceforth referred to as COT in the document). The following are the steps that are involved in this model.

 

Core Team Building:
TechJini will build a core team comprising of at least two people for the Client. This core team will remain largely undisturbed as long as the client is with TechJini.

 

Knowledge Transfer:
A series of sessions and communication between the Clients on-site technical team and TechJini's COT to understand the various aspects of the client. (Business, Culture, requirements, technologies, etc..)

 

Operate & Run:
Once the COT is done with the knowledge transfer TechJini will start immediately with the operations. The goal is to seamlessly integrate the TechJini's COT with the client's Technical team, and hence over a short time become the extended arm of the client's IT team. This integration will not only add value to client's operations in a short time period but also the COT will effectively become a integral part of our Client's business.

 

Add-On or Re-Allocate resources:
Depending on the requirements our Client can add-on or re-allocate resources to the core COT.Addition of resources can be done with a short notice of at least 2 weeks. The Client can also reallocate resources with a 30 day prior intimation. The 30 day prior intimation is in order to protect the best interests of both the client and the employee.

 

Billing Method:
The Client will be billed on monthly basis (fixed price for 175 working hours per resource/per month) for their respective teams.
